ARENA

Since Arena Simulation Software is the most used Discrete Event Simulation Software in the world, students who have Arena experience possess a valuable skill sought after by many companies. With Arena training, students are introduced to the principles of simulation and will enhance their problem-solving skills by conducting effective simulation modeling, analysis, and research projects. Simulation concepts are understood quickly and easily through a simple flowchart modeling approach. There is no need to be a programmer to take advantage of Arena’s comprehensive features and capabilities. Furthermore, the knowledge and experience gained through university course work and research helps students build a strong foundation in discrete-event simulation that applies to real-world situations they will encounter in the workplace.

The Arena Student version provides the functionality of Arena Professional Edition, with only a limit to the size of the models that can be built. The student version is available for download free of charge!

Adams

The Multibody Dynamics Simulation Solution
As the world's most widely used Multibody Dynamics (MBD) software, Adams helps engineers to study the dynamics of moving parts, how loads and forces are distributed throughout mechanical systems.
Product manufacturers often struggle to understand true system performance until very late in the design process. Mechanical, electrical, and other subsystems are validated against their specific requirements within the systems engineering process, but full-system testing and validation comes late, leading to rework and design changes that are riskier and more costly than those made early on.

ANSYS

Computer-aided engineering is playing a growing role in higher education in the disciplines of science and engineering. At the undergraduate level, students use engineering simulation to learn physics principles and gain hands-on, real-world experience that can jump-start their careers. At the postgraduate level, researchers apply simulation tools to solve complex application problems. Commercial organizations regularly partner with educational institutions to foster innovative research — sometimes at the basic level — that can lead to breakthrough solutions.
